ADF Prayer Request
This month, Alliance Defending Freedom is going to the U.S. Supreme Court to defend women’s safety after the FDA recklessly removed its original safety standards for abortion drugs.
These safeguards required, for example, that doctors provide ongoing care to women using the drugs, including an initial in-person visit to screen for ectopic pregnancies and other serious conditions, and follow-up visits to check for serious complications like severe bleeding and life-threatening infections.
Why are these safeguards necessary?
According to the FDA’s own label, roughly one in 25 women who take abortion drugs will end up in the emergency room. Yet the agency has left women to take these high-risk drugs alone without ever having visited a doctor.
That’s why a group of doctors decided to hold the FDA accountable and enlisted ADF to sue the FDA on their behalf for its reckless removal of these critical safety standards. The U.S. Supreme Court will hear the oral argument on March 26th. We can expect a decision by the end of June.
As we prepare to bring this case before the Court, we ask you, our members, to please join us in prayer.
We believe in the power of prayer and have witnessed its ability to make an impact.
We have created a prayer guide with specific prayer requests to assist you and your congregation in praying for this case, should you find it helpful.
